Capabilities
Every custom-made mould starts from the specific conditions of the project. The geometry of the element, the tolerances, the production cycle, the way the mould will be used and the operating conditions all define the equipment. Our work is to turn those requirements into a solution that fits the case in hand.
Variable geometry
The same element can come in varying geometries and dimensions. Where the project calls for it, we design equipment able to adapt to the configurations foreseen: changes in length, thickness, section, curvature or other geometric parameters.
Quality of the element
The quality required of the element also depends on the precision of the mould. Tolerances, surfaces, fits and adjustment options are considered in the light of the result to be achieved, with manufacturing and inspection methods suited to the specifications of the project.
Safe and workable in use
A mould has to work in a real production process, not only on paper. Handling, opening and closing, access and operations required during the cycle are considered together with safety requirements, looking for solutions that make the equipment practical and safe in daily use.
Robustness and operating continuity
A mould has to keep, over time, the characteristics that the production process needs. Structures, components and handling systems are sized for real operating conditions and for the repetition of the cycles, so that the equipment stays stable and functional throughout its working life.
Experience goes into the design choices
Where the case allows it, we propose alternatives and changes that can improve the solution, the production process or the use of the equipment. Experience gained on different applications and production contexts is what makes it possible to weigh them up.
